I have over 20 years of professional experience in soft furnishings and curtain making. I am self employed with a high volume of repeat business and personal recommendations, also undertaking freelance work for well respected local soft furnishing companies and a fabric designer.
I have sewn all my life and love making things. When I was a toddler my Mum would set me up with an old sock in an embroidery ring and some knitting wool in a very big darning needle and I would happy stitch away (much to the amusement of visitors). I sew a lot of my own clothes and have recently got into free motion embroidery. Come along to my class, have fun and create something new.
Teaching soft furnishings part time for the last few years has given me the pleasure of passing on my knowledge and helping my students to learn professional techniques and tips of the trade.
